Examination & Progress Reports

There will be two term Examinations and one final Examination besides the usual Mid term tests.

After each test / Examination, Progress Reports will be sent to the Parents / Guardians. Parents / Guardians are requested to examine the Report Cards carefully and take special efforts.The students will improve to the subject they have failed. They may discuss the progress of their ward with the Principal or Headmaster after fixing a prior appointment.

People who have not paid the fees in full will not be allowed to take examination.

A student caught copying or indulging in any other malpractices will not be allowed to take the subsequent examinations unless the principal grants written permission to take the other examinations. Such students must bring his or her parents to the principal. Punishments will be given to such students according to the discretion of the Principal.

If a Progress Report is lost, a fine of Rs.50/- will be charged for a new one.

To be eligible for promotion, a student must secure minimum 40% of marks in all subjects. This assessment will be continuous process and will not be confined to the Annual Examinations alone. Every pupil is required to be present for 85% of the school working days as pre-requisite of promotion

Pupils absent from examinations will be considered as having failed unless it is established that their absence was due to illness. If any student is found lacking the ability to cope up with the work load of the succeeding class, he or she will be allowed to repeat one more year in one class. If student remains unfit to take up the next higher class, he or she will be removed from the rolls.
